There was 15 of us and we took up 3 units so we basically took over the place for 2 days. The rooms were clean and well kept and beds were comfortable to sleep in after a whole day at the beach. The staff were very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel like family. Located across from a beautiful sand beach and close to shops I highly recommend this hotel for anyone.
Pricey for what you get, dated, but very clean. Although stated, NO beach, sea or garden view. Very comfy bed & helpful to have suitcase bench. Checkin was most efficient and friendly. The location is its’ saving.
The motel was very comfortable, but compact. We chose the location to break up the trip to Cape Reinga via the West coast route.||The dining options in town were limited, but there was some tasty food and the atmosphere in the local pub was cheerful.
Cute motel with incredible views of the harbour. Very clean and tidy. Room has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to shop, information centre, great little cafe, and Manea Footprints of Kupe experience.
We got a friendly welcome and a really nice unit. There was no noise from other units and we slept well. We have a large car which made parking a little difficult but the unit next door was vacant so we were able to park out side out unit with minimal fuss.

Stayed last weekend with my 9 year old son and his friend also 9 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All towels and linen were so fresh and clean. Everything we needed was available in the room. The beds were so comfortable and cosy. The location was awesome and the staff were top notch. Everything was emaculate. I would highly recommend this place to stay. Clean and great location. Great reception - very helpful and friendly. Good barbecue facilities which we enjoyed. Well bset up room and good sleeping. Negatives are noise - could hear TV sounds from adjoining unit, pricy for what it is. Our most expensive night so far! But not a lot of choice.
